Rezo Adamia’s art is closely connected to France — especially to Paris, where he has held five solo exhibitions.
Alongside Parisian landscapes, his paintings often depict his native Colchian odas (traditional Georgian houses). The theme of abandoned homes holds a special place in his work.

And if one day a Georgian wishes to restore them, they will be able to do so through my paintings.”

His works also reveal cosmic and mystical worlds. As the artist himself notes, art needs a touch of mysticism:
“The Japanese say it beautifully — every morning, when the sun rises, you should greet it with applause.
The sun is mysticism, and if mysticism does not live within the artist, his art is only temporary.”
